Privacy Policy
Last updated September 1, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Genfolio (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit the site, create an account, or buy a pass.
Genfolio is a prompt gallery. We are not an AI image or video generator. Payments are processed by Creem as merchant of record; Creem handles billing data as described in its own Privacy Policy.
2. Data we collect
Account. Email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive the name and profile photo Google shares with us. If you use a magic link, we only need your email.
Passes. When you buy a pass we store the pass type, start and expiry dates, and Creem identifiers (order, customer, and product IDs) so we can unlock the right content and handle refunds.
Technical. We use cookies and similar storage that are required to keep you signed in and to protect the session. We do not currently run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on Genfolio.
We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Card details are submitted directly to Creem at checkout.
3. How we use data
We use this data to:
- create and authenticate your account
- show the catalog and unlock prompts according to your plan
- complete purchases, grant passes, and process refunds
- reply to support requests
- keep the service secure and prevent abuse
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Processors and sharing
We share data only with services that help us operate Genfolio:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage for accounts, passes, and gallery content (Privacy Policy)
- Google — optional sign-in (Privacy Policy)
- Creem — checkout, tax, receipts, and refunds as merchant of record (Privacy Policy)
We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the service against fraud or abuse.
5. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to keep your session after you sign in. These are not used for ads. If you block cookies, sign-in may not work.
6. Retention
We keep account and pass records while your account exists, and for a limited time afterward if we need them for refunds, security, or legal records. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@genfolio.design. Creem retains payment records under its own policies.
7. International transfers
Our processors may store or process data in the United States, the European Union, and other countries. If you use Genfolio from another country, your data may be transferred to those locations.
8. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Email support@genfolio.design and we will help. You can also disconnect Google sign-in from your Google account settings.
9. Children
Genfolio is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
