Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to Genfolio, a prompt gallery for AI-built portfolios. By creating an account, browsing the catalog, or buying a pass, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. For how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Genfolio is a prompt gallery for building personal portfolio websites with AI tools. We provide professionally written prompts and visual previews for common portfolio sections (such as Hero, Projects, Expertise, Career, About, and Contact), plus full-site templates on the highest pass.

You copy a prompt from Genfolio and paste it into your own AI tools (for example ChatGPT or Cursor) to generate and customize pages. We do not host your finished portfolio, run those AI models, or deliver downloadable HTML or source-code packages.

3. Accounts

You can sign in with Google or a magic link sent to your email. You must provide a valid email address and keep your account under your control. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Passes are bound to a single account. You may not share login access, sell your account, or let others use a paid pass. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, scrape content, or violate these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and to purchase a pass.

4. Free access and paid passes

Signed-in users on the Free plan can browse the catalog and copy prompts for Free sections. Premium section prompts and template prompts stay locked until you buy the matching pass.

  • Pro is a one-time pass, valid for 90 days. It unlocks copy and preview for Premium section prompts.
  • Ultimate is a one-time pass, valid for 180 days. It includes everything in Pro, plus copy and preview for Template prompts.
  • Active Pro members can upgrade to Ultimate. That purchase ends the current Pro pass and starts a new 180-day Ultimate pass from the date of purchase. Unused time on the Pro pass is not credited or refunded.

Current prices are shown on the Pricing page and confirmed at Creem checkout. The amount you pay is the price shown at checkout. We may change prices for future purchases; a pass you already bought is not affected.

A pass gives access to the catalog as it exists while the pass is active. We may add, edit, or retire prompts and templates. We do not guarantee that any specific item will remain available for the full duration of your pass.

Passes are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew. When a pass expires, gallery access returns to Free: you can still browse, but paid prompts are locked again. We do not offer lifetime access.

5. License to prompts

We own the prompts, previews, and other content in the gallery. While your pass (or Free access) is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to copy the prompts your plan unlocks and use them to build your own portfolio.

You may not:

  • resell, share, or redistribute the prompt library, in whole or in part
  • publish our prompts as your own product or dataset
  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-download gallery content
  • use the service to build a competing prompt gallery

After a pass expires, you lose access to locked prompts in Genfolio. Prompts you already copied for your own portfolio work may still be used for that personal purpose. That does not give you a right to keep using the gallery or to share those prompts with others.

6. Payments and merchant of record

Paid passes are sold in US dollars. The amount charged is the price shown at Creem checkout. Checkout and payment are processed by Creem as merchant of record. Creem is the seller of record for the transaction: it collects payment, handles applicable sales tax or VAT, issues receipts, and may manage refunds or chargebacks. Card details are submitted to Creem, not to Genfolio.

Payment is also subject to Creem’s Buyer Terms. A pass is delivered digitally by unlocking the matching prompts in your account after payment is confirmed.

7. Refunds

Passes are digital content delivered as soon as payment is confirmed. By buying a pass you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that, once delivery begins, you lose any cooling-off or withdrawal right that would otherwise apply to unused digital content — including the EU 14-day withdrawal right where Creem’s Buyer Terms provide for that waiver.

Purchases are generally non-refundable once we have granted the pass or you have previewed or copied a paid prompt. Change of mind, unused time on a pass, and how third-party AI tools render a prompt are not grounds for a refund.

We may refund an order if:

  • we failed to grant the pass after a successful payment
  • you were charged twice for the same order
  • a technical error made paid prompts unusable and we could not restore access
  • Creem or applicable law requires a refund

To request a review, email support@genfolio.design. We aim to reply within 3 business days. Each payment is reviewed on its own, using account and usage records. A refund, if issued, is processed through Creem and cancels the pass from that order. Refunding a Ultimate upgrade cancels that Ultimate pass and does not restore a previous Pro pass.

8. Third-party AI tools

Genfolio supplies prompts and previews. The pages you generate depend on third-party AI tools you choose and on how you edit the output. We do not control those tools and are not affiliated with the providers of those models. Previews are examples of a possible result, not a guaranteed output. Different models, model versions, and generations from the same model can produce different pages. Prompts cannot reliably reproduce a preview. Variation of this kind is expected and is not a defect in the service.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Genfolio to:

  • break the law or infringe other people’s rights
  • attempt to bypass paywalls, accounts, or access controls
  • interfere with or overload the service
  • misrepresent Genfolio as generating images, video, or hosted websites on your behalf

10. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. Content may change as we add, edit, or retire prompts.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the pass giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Suspension, deletion, and discontinuation

If we suspend or terminate your account for a violation of these Terms, any active pass is cancelled. That cancellation is not a refund, except where Creem or applicable law requires otherwise.

You can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@genfolio.design. Deletion ends any active pass and is not a refund for a pass you have already received.

We may change or discontinue the service. If we permanently shut down Genfolio while you have an active paid pass, we will refund the unused portion of that pass through Creem where we reasonably can, except where Creem or applicable law requires a different result.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
